How is a NeurOptimal® Neurofeedback Session Developed?

Each session, by appointment, lasts approximately 1 hour.
You will be comfortably seated in a chair, watching a movie or listening to relaxing music for thirty-three minutes.
You have nothing to do but relax or doze off! If you prefer, you can also use this time to work or read.
1) Measurement and Analysis of Brain Activity:
Two sensors are placed on the scalp and three on the ears. These allow the system to continuously measure and analyze cortical activity in real-time.
2) Feedback:
Whenever a fluctuation is detected, a micro-cut occurs in the soundtrack. This is known as ‘feedback’.

3) Adjustment of the Central Nervous System (CNS):
The central nervous system (CNS), informed of each fluctuation through these micro-cuts, interprets them as signals inviting it to organize itself differently.
Thanks to its remarkable neuroplasticity, the brain is capable of adapting to optimize its information transmission circuits. It then readjusts its synaptic connections to self-regulate and restore optimal functioning.
The repetition of these feedbacks (micro-cuts) throughout the sessions creates a lasting positive change: the brain becomes increasingly agile and resilient.
The sound interruption is the only information transmitted to the brain.
